FS#2432 - deployment iperf3 Server for Datacenter Speedtest

We are going to deploy a datacenter internal speedtest with iperf3 software.

All customers with VPS or Dedicated Servers with Root-Access will be able to perform measurements of available network bandwidth against the iPerf instance.

The test server was deployed. We are now going to test it internal. After that tests we will publish this for usage to customers.

Please note:
iperf3 Server is only for data center internal usage. Server is not public reachable.

The speed test server was tested successfully.

All customers are invited to test it:

Software: iperf3
IPv4: iperf3.ipv4.euserv.net
IPv6: iperf3.ipv6.euserv.net

Connection: 10Gbps throttled to 1Gbps

Please note:
* Only iperf3 clients are compatible (the older "iperf" clients are not compatible)
* Only TCP is allowed
* For best performance only one concurrent connection is possible, clients abort if already a test is running


Install the client example:

CentOS7:

# yum -y install epel*
# yum -y install iperf3

Perform the test:
iperf3 -c iperf3.ipv6.euserv.net
